"I have been fortunate enough to be working with Cabaret Rouge for over 8 years now and I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, energy, enthusiasm, talent, creativity and flexibility. Here at The Great Event Company we have a variety of clients, private and corporate, those individuals wanting a small, intimate gathering for friends and large companies looking to entertain a couple of thousand of their employees in one evening. Cabaret Rouge are always undaunted, whatever the theme, location, budget and requirements. They have adapted existing routines, written new ones from scratch, located random pieces of music, sewn vaguely specific costumes, soldiered through PA problems, overly friendly guests, slippery dance floors (even mopping up spilled drinks themselves when bar staff were too busy), low ceilings, high stages, awkward steps, venues in the middle of nowhere, on un-signposted lanes in the deepest, darkest countryside, changed clothes in cold tents and charmed our clients each and every time.
As well as being amazing dancers they have acted as friendly, welcoming front of house, interactive themed characters during events (a saucy Alice in Wonderland, a terrifyingly austere White Witch to name just two) and are always on hand to break down guests reservations to get them up on their feet and out onto the dance floor. They have made grand entrances on floats, across a meare on a boat and once, memorably, flanking a client whilst he was dressed as an Arab Sheikh and astride a camel!
To work with on a personal level they are a pleasure, from the initial enquiry, through the development of the event and booking, until the performance itself. After putting my back out the morning of a large annual ball the lead dancer insisted that I lie down to rest during the night with painkillers that she’d kindly given me, while she took over all management of the performances, liaising with the DJ and caterer, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. This is just one example of why I am so grateful that a professional association has led to rewarding personal friendships with these wonderful ladies of Cabaret Rouge"

"My Name is Debbie and I own Allensis Special Occasion Services, a wedding planning and design company in Peterborough. I recently had the great pleasure of working with Katie and her wonderful extended working family for a wedding I was planning in Cambridgeshire.
The couple I was working with had already got a very firm idea about the type of wedding they wanted and the entertainment had to be top class. The wedding was full of personality and personal touches and they wanted this to be reflected in every element of the day.
My clients had seen Cabaret Rouge and their work and wanted them to provide several short sets across the day to bridge gaps of time, the requirements as to how this was done were fluid and open to recommendation.
Due to our diaries and locations we could not set up a face to face meeting, and despite being based across two countries and working in between, Katie was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout and offered face time meets instead. My clients were impressed with the enthusiasm, and ideas that Katie showed for their wedding and were even more excited about their big day as a result.
Right up until the day Katie kept me informed of all her plans for the sets, the finer costume details and her ideas and suggestions for songs/timings etc. She sent pictures for reference and my clients were spoilt for choice! Katie had even made a bespoke selfie frame for the day based on the theme given.
We ended up with a wonderful ballet and photo opportunity set which entertained guests between the official ceremony and a humanist ceremony set up, followed by the girls in their show girl costumes mingling with guests and having photos during the drinks reception, even helping with the line up for the ‘bubbles shot’…the final two sets were as burlesque and tease which completely set the tone for the evening party and the guests were completely blown away by the beautiful girls and their talents!
The girls on the day could not be faulted for their utmost flexibility, and professionalism in terms of timings and activities, ….and Katie herself was amazing to work with, she is creative, dedicated and passionate .. no matter how small an event, she makes the process feel intimate and personal which in turn means you know you will get a gazillion percent of cool on the day!
It was the first time I had worked with Katie and Cabaret Rouge and I certainly would not hesitate to work with them again, and I know from feedback at the wedding on the day and since that the clients and their guests were completely Wow’d by the girls.
